For those of us that don't get that opportunity - well, we are hoping this picture can take you there for just a moment.
For many of us water is calming - a relaxing sound as we just sit and enjoy its beauty.
Sometimes water can turn into storms that we have to figure out how to live through.
Today we would like to leave these thoughts with you from the devotional -
Until the Day Breaks and the Shadows Flee by Christine A. Christopher -
"Your road led through the sea, your pathway through the mighty waters; a pathway no one knew was there! Psalm 77:19 (NLT)
To the children of Israel the Red Sea looked like an impossible situation. What is your red sea? We tend to look at what is right in front of our faces - Our vision is limited, but God's isn't. God knew He was going to build a road right through that red sea and that is what He is doing for all of us and our "red seas."
Christine ends this devotion with the following - ponder and enjoy
"What are you facing today? Listen very carefully to God. I think I hear Him telling you something...yes, I do...
"Hey! I see a road right through the middle of your sea; a path no one knew was there except Me! Trust Me, Child, and follow Me. I'll take you right through on the path I have built just for your feet!"
If you are enjoying the ocean right now and it is peaceful we are thankful - if you are having a red sea season we are thankful you have a God that is building a road through it just for your feet.
